I was so excited to photograph the Sharma Family. A man with FIVE daughters should get a metal but man did he have a bunch of daddy's girls! Everyone was so sweet and such a joy for me to capture!

QJ and Baby Troy // In-Home Newborn

I got to love on the sweetest 3 day old baby last week! Troy was an absolute doll and has a head full of hair that would make a grown man jealous! His brother QJ was a rambunctious little 3 year old with the personality of a NFL quarterback! He gave me a run for my money but in the end it turned out great! Such precious boys!

Driggers Maternity // Hurricane Shoals Park

My beautiful cousin and her handsome hubby are expecting TWINS! Our family is so excited and I was honored to take their gender reveal/maternity photos last week. 

She has not announced the genders yet so here are a few photos that don't leave any hints as to what they are!

Ramsey Claire 1st Birthday // Sells Mill Park

Sweet Ramsey Claire turns 1! What?! 

I can remember when Rachael announced her pregnancy and now that precious girl is one. Time goes by way to fast! 

We met up at a local park with some awesome rocks, hills, and waterfalls! Ramsey was just talking away - it was precious! She gave me some big smiles and was full of personality. I like to think I brought that out of her but, let's be honest, it was all mom and big sis behind me being crazy! 😊

Puchstein Family // Hurricane Shoals Park

I met with the sweetest family this past weekend! We met up at Hurricane Shoals  Park (one of my faves!) and shot some Christmas photos! I really enjoy meeting new people and their families and they had some really sweet and fun kiddos!

Jackson Family // Mulberry River Walk

 We got out this afternoon and braved the cold temperatures to get some family photos of this sweet couple and their delicious ginger, Kaden! Krista and j have known each other since preschool so it was super fun to be able to capture this time in their lives! 

Kaden is absolutely the cutest little kid ever! He was reciting lines from Frozen and running all over the place but would "cheese" for mini marshmallows and a candy cane at the end! LOVE! 

Here are a few of my favorites! 

Kaden saw them kissing and stuck him hand in between their faces and said, "STOP THAT GUYS!" 

Hilarious! 

What we didn't tell you was the other half of this session was a pregnancy announcement! I had to wait almost a month for her to announce it and it was so hard! Here's some other photos taken showing her sweet baby on the way!

Jackson Family // Fort Yargo State Park

I had the pleasure of shooting this sweet family's Christmas photos this past weekend! The weather was so beautiful! Little Miss Hannah Grace was such a cutie! It was so fun chasing her around - candid shots are the best! We will be finishing this shoot this week and I will post more photos! For now, here are my favorites!

Holderfield Engagement // Silver Comet Trail

This shoot was so fun. Holly's sister, Laura, contacted me about a week ago and asked if I would want to be involved in a surprise engagement photo shoot/family photos and of course I said yes!! 

After a week of going back and forth and ironing out all the details with Steven the day finally arrived! 

We got to the Silver Comet Trail and headed down to the ruins of an old Grist Mill. It was fabulous! I took a few before shots of Holly and Steven and then took some of Laura and her little family. We then walked up to a part of the ruins and Steven had brought a rock that is sentimental to them with "my one true love" on one side and "will you marry me" on the other. We were sneaky and led Holly into the ruin and snapped a few shots of her right next to the rock and she didn't even know it! Finally she turned around and he was down on one knee! 

Of course she said yes! It was such a special moment and I am so honored to have been a part of it!

Clover Family // Silver Comet Trail

I love shooting family sessions but I love shooting CHRISTMAS family sessions even more! 

I met Laura and her little family in Smyrna and we headed down to the Silver Comet Trail! It was such a beautiful day and the weather was just perfect. 

Laura's daughter Ansley was the star of the show! She is such a cutie and we had a blast drinking fake hot chocolate and eating a half a bag of marshmallows!

Roberts Family // Hurricane Shoals Park

I'm I'm I am blessed with some amazing friends! My sweet friend Kendra trusted me enough back in 2012 to be my first customer! Here's a look at her family photos taken at the ever so famous Hurricame Shoals Park. 

This park is fabulous for photos. It has a great covered bridge, huge rolling waterfalls and lots of very old buildings.
