I had the pleasure of shooting this sweet family's Christmas photos this past weekend! The weather was so beautiful! Little Miss Hannah Grace was such a cutie! It was so fun chasing her around - candid shots are the best! We will be finishing this shoot this week and I will post more photos! For now, here are my favorites!

Holderfield Engagement // Silver Comet Trail

This shoot was so fun. Holly's sister, Laura, contacted me about a week ago and asked if I would want to be involved in a surprise engagement photo shoot/family photos and of course I said yes!! 

After a week of going back and forth and ironing out all the details with Steven the day finally arrived! 

We got to the Silver Comet Trail and headed down to the ruins of an old Grist Mill. It was fabulous! I took a few before shots of Holly and Steven and then took some of Laura and her little family. We then walked up to a part of the ruins and Steven had brought a rock that is sentimental to them with "my one true love" on one side and "will you marry me" on the other. We were sneaky and led Holly into the ruin and snapped a few shots of her right next to the rock and she didn't even know it! Finally she turned around and he was down on one knee! 

Of course she said yes! It was such a special moment and I am so honored to have been a part of it!

Clover Family // Silver Comet Trail

I love shooting family sessions but I love shooting CHRISTMAS family sessions even more! 

I met Laura and her little family in Smyrna and we headed down to the Silver Comet Trail! It was such a beautiful day and the weather was just perfect. 

Laura's daughter Ansley was the star of the show! She is such a cutie and we had a blast drinking fake hot chocolate and eating a half a bag of marshmallows!

Roberts Family // Hurricane Shoals Park

I'm I'm I am blessed with some amazing friends! My sweet friend Kendra trusted me enough back in 2012 to be my first customer! Here's a look at her family photos taken at the ever so famous Hurricame Shoals Park. 

This park is fabulous for photos. It has a great covered bridge, huge rolling waterfalls and lots of very old buildings.

Josh/Jaymee Engagement // Wilshire Trails

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couple this past weekend. It was such a beautiful and crisp fall afternoon and the weather was perfect!

Wilshire Trails is the perfect location for fall photos because it is blanketed in beautifully colored trees and lined with a sweet little creek bed! There are a few precious bridges including an amazing covered bridge right at the beginning of the trail.

Acton Maternity

Luckily I have some pretty amazing friends who trust me to capture some pretty special moments in their lives. Krista and I have been friends for years and this pregnancy is extra special for her. It is her fourth pregnancy, yes FOURTH, and after three sweet boys she is finally getting her sweet baby girl!

Happy 1st Birthday Dean!

I had the privilege of photographing this sweet little boys first birthday party! It was at such a beautiful location filled with such wonderful people. You could definitely tell little Dean is loved by many! They went with a Rock-star theme and it was absolutely the cutest thing! Dean was even rocking a mo-hawk!
